In Memory of Jamie White
March 29, 1989 - April 28, 2011
The horrific storms that battered the southeast late Wednesday and early Thursday last week claimed the life of Jamie White, a CNA caregiver with CareMaster Medical Services. Jamie was on duty with her patient when the storms entered western Spalding County shortly after her shift had begun. She moved her patient to the safest portion of the house to await the storm. Unfortunately the storm destroyed the house and claimed the lives of Jamie and her patient. She offered the ultimate sacrifice that a caregiver can give as she sought to protect her patient at all costs. Jamie leaves three children and her mother, Kimberly Hilton, who is also a caregiver with CareMaster Medical Services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to United Bank to the Kimberly D. Hilton Benefit Account for Jamie White's Children.
Please remember Jamie White and her family in your thoughts and prayers. The Georgia CNA Association joins CNA's and caregivers throughout the state of Georgia in recognizing Jamie for her ultimate sacrifice for her patient.
